A Gift Given

An older woman just walked into our office and said she’d like to make a cash donation. A staff member gratefully accepted her donation and asked for her name. The woman kindly said she’d like to remain anonymous. “Francis House has helped me a lot over the years. I just want to give back.” The lady walked out the door with a spring her step. The staff member looked into her hands at the $200 cash that was given and smiled. Thank you so very much to the anonymous donor who gave more than just money today.
